This RCP010-20EPP replacement high flow filter cartridge is a high-performance, large diameter pleated filter element for industrial liquid purification. Constructed with pleated polypropylene microfiber media and EPDM gaskets, it is fully compatible with standard water filter housing and can work together with self-cleaning filter units in multi-stage filtration lines. The 20.5-inch long cartridge features a 6.3-inch outer diameter and inside-to-outside flow path. One single cartridge can replace multiple traditional small-diameter filter cartridges, greatly simplifying filter housing layout and lowering maintenance workload.

Key Features & Advantages

High dirt holding capacity:

The large-diameter design delivers much higher contaminant storage volume than conventional small filter cartridges and extends service life significantly.

Less maintenance and downtime:

A single high flow filter cartridge can replace up to 90% quantity of traditional small cartridges. The integrated top grip allows fast, tool-free replacement.

Reliable sealing performance:

Equipped with EPDM gaskets for wide adaptability across various water and chemical conditions. Optional Chevron seal prevents bypass risk even with minor housing deformation.

Broad compliance:

Made of high-grade polypropylene material, suitable for industrial and food-grade applications. Selected versions meet FDA 21 CFR and NSF 61 standards.

Working Principle

Inside-to-Outside Flow Design:

Raw liquid enters the inner core of the filter cartridge, then flows outward through the pleated filter media.

Particle Lock-in Mechanism:

Suspended solids and contaminants are trapped and retained within the internal pleated layers of the cartridge. During filter replacement, captured dirt will not fall into downstream pipelines to avoid secondary contamination.

Maximized Pleated Filtration Area:

Radial pleating technology creates a large filtration area within compact dimensions, reducing fluid resistance and pressure drop during operation.

Applications & Target Industries

Industrial Process Water Treatment:

Fine filtration for manufacturing process water loops.

Potable Water & Municipal Water Pre-filtration:

Protection filtration for municipal water supply systems.

RO System Security Filtration:

Serves as the final guard filter to protect reverse osmosis membrane elements from fine particle damage.

Food and Beverage Liquid Clarification:

Clarification of beverage, syrup and food-grade process liquids.

Chemical & Electronic Grade Ultra-pure Water Pre-treatment:

Pre-purification for high-purity water production in electronics and fine chemical plants.

Replacement & Cost-Efficiency

1. Compatibility

This replacement filter cartridge is a drop-in retrofit solution for the RCP010-20EPP filter element. The dimensions, end cap structure and sealing interface are fully matched, so it can be installed directly into matching filter housings without pipe modification.

2. ROI & Total Cost of Ownership Analysis

Reduced procurement cost:Our aftermarket replacement cartridge brings obvious cost savings compared with original filter elements.

Lower operation and maintenance cost:High dirt holding capacity extends service intervals, cuts cartridge consumption and reduces costly plant downtime caused by frequent filter change.
