The filter medium of the fluorine membrane filter element is a hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) microporous filter membrane.

Typical use:

Vent the sterile storage tank.

Solvent sterilization and filtration: butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, various vinegars, and various alcohols such as acetone, dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, ethanol, and isopropanol.

Sterile filtration of compressed air: air, nitrogen, feed to bioreactors.
